Non Controlled Prescription Refills

In some cases, an appointment may be necessary to complete your refill request. We may need to see your child if it has been a year or longer since the last visit or your child has new symptoms.

Controlled Prescription Refills:

If your child is being treated with a controlled substance medication (Ritalin, Concerta, Adderall, and other medications that require a hand written prescription), a periodic wellness check may be required. Contact our office at least 1 business day in advance for refills or if you think adjustments need to be made to your child’s medications. This gives the doctor an opportunity to review the chart if needed. You will receive a return telephone call from our office if there is a problem refilling the prescription.

Antibiotics cannot cure a cold - the 'common cold' and 'the flu' are both viruses (also called a viral infections). Anti-biotics only work against bacterial infections. It's not too late to have your child vaccinated again the flu.
Early Onset Puberty - A study conducted by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) has documented that boys in the U.S. are experiencing the onset of puberty six months to two years earlier than reported in previous research.
The clingy infant arrives around 10 months of age, and parents know when they see it. Suddenly, leaving the child’s line of sight causes the little one great distress—thanks in part to the child's undeveloped sense of time and lack of experience with a parent's absence. Forbidding children from eating foods doesn't work. When children think that a food is forbidden by their parents, the food often becomes more desirable.
